Home Media Player

Qtv gives you the ability to view your digital photos, listen to your MP3's and watch your videos on your TV in the living room. No more huddling around the PC showing pictures to your friends, listening to music on PC speakers or watching a movie in an office chair. Enjoy your media on your terms in the comfort of your living room on your home entertainment system.

If you haven't connected your PS2 to your home network - no problem! Just connect your MP3 player, Flash drive or other USB device to one of the USB ports on the PS2 and you can access the content directly from the TV.

Qtv supports most popular content formats and standard television resolutions for both NTSC and PAL.

Internet TV Entertainment

The world of online digital entertainment is exploding and Qtv delivers that experience to your living room. Qtv gives you access to a potentially unlimited number of online content & service providers, including professional, independent, user generated and niche content from around the world.

You will be able to enjoy:

1. Video-on-Demand - Short or full length videos, such as movies, music videos, pilots, special interest, foreign language, local content, user generated, educational materials and sports programming. Many of these videos are available at no charge. Others will have a per view fee or subscription fee as determined by the respective content provider.
2. Music - Music, music subscription services, on-line music stores and Internet radio.
3. Shopping - Interactive online shopping and auctions.
4. Gaming - Interactive contests and network gaming.
5. Education - Remote learning, interactive games and educational materials.

We do not host or deliver the content, but we enable authorized providers to deliver content and services to the TV. Qtv Interface

The Qtv user interface helps you navigate the myriad of content choices. The interface is revolutionary in its simplicity, using a simple and intuitive menu navigation system.

Qtv provides multiple paths for finding content. The content from all the content partners is organized under the top level Home, Video, Music, Photos, Shopping and Services menus. Submenus further organize the content and allow you to explore the content by subject, genre and keywords. You can also enter search terms or browse the content from each provider.

Personalization

Qtv offers an unprecedented level of personalization. Qtv allows each member of the family to create a password protected user account and customize their Qtv user interface:

1. Online Content - select which genres, channels and types of content are displayed on the each users interface.
2. Favorites - select genres and channels as your favorites so that they are immediately accessible from your home page.
3. Local Information - weather, movies and local events are based on your zip code.
4. Keywords - select and save keywords within each genre to narrow the search results.
5. Recommendations - once you set your preferences, Qtv monitors content available from our partners and displays the content that meets your preferences.
6. Parental Controls - manage what your kids can watch by setting rating limits, genres and the directories accessible from TV. You can even define spending limits for each of your kids.

No Expensive New Box

Qtv is a software-only solution that leverages your existing PC, broadband connection and the PS2 that is already connected to your TV. All you need is a Qtv PS2 disc to expand the functionality of your PS2 and give access to both personal and online entertainment.

If you haven’t connected your PS2 to a home network, you can still use Qtv by connecting your USB drive or portable media player to one of the USB ports of your PS2 and access your music, photos and video from your TV.
