Video
Qtv gives rights holders (providers) the ability to directly deliver their programming to the biggest screen in the home. In addition to the consumer's added enjoyment value, the TV provides a higher ROI than the PC. Providers can also leverage their existing Internet TV (video on the PC) delivery and advertising solutions to deliver programming to the TV. Providers can enable access to some or all of their libraries and the rights holder maintains control over their programming.
Branded Channels
Recognizing the power of individual brands, Qtv also provides direct access to the providers programming within a branded interface. This allows consumers to easily find content from a particular provider. For example, consumers are already familiar with the programming available on a particular network, so having the programming available through a branded channel provides significant value to both the consumer and the provider.
Niche Interests
Delivering highly valuable specialized programming to the TV has, until now, been impractical. With Qtv, niche content like foreign language programming, universities, associations, hobbies and international sports can be delivered to the national and global marketplace. Geography becomes irrelevant - once a service is developed, it can be made available through the entire Qtv network.
Niche programming has significant revenue potential. The programming is often the viewer's way of connecting to a community, whether that community is a foreign country, alma mater, fellow hobbyists or a local sports team.
