Qtv gives advertisers and providers the ability to tailor the advertising to the individual watching the TV. Imagine the effectiveness of those TV impressions if everyone that saw them was a qualified customer. Welcome to adaptive and participatory advertising, where consumers through selected preferences, history and learned behavior receive advertising messages that are relevant to them and their lifestyle.
Advertising models:
Provider Inserted
Qtv can provide the demographics information of the individual requesting the content to the provider so that the provider can insert relevant advertising. This allows the provider to utilize their existing advertising model and tailor the advertising to the person. This also significantly increases the advertising rates the provider can charge.
Pushed While Content is Downloading
Depending on the consumer's broadband connection, it will take several minutes for a progressive download to buffer enough information to begin playing on the TV. During these first few minutes, relevant advertising can be presented to the viewer. The advertising could be within the interface or previously pushed to the PC and played until the main attraction can be watched on the TV. Preference is always given to tailoring the available advertising content to the viewer, delivering your message to qualified customers where your message can have the most impact.
Placement within the Interface
Within select screens of the Qtv interface are advertising opportunities. Priority will be given to highlighting new providers and content that will be relevant to the user. In addition, when content is available from multiple providers, a list of providers will be displayed. Qtv will include a system that will allow providers to change their placement within the list.
Sponsorship
Qtv has many sponsorship opportunities, from something as simple as a banner on the weather page or a game to sponsoring a full feature interactive channel on travel - where to go, clothing to buy, hotels to stay at and more. Qtv will work with advertisers to develop a model that works for their needs no matter how big or small the project is, we have designers to make it work.
