Overview

BroadQ is going to revolutionize television entertainment. Our Qtv service solution fundamentally changes how people will enjoy television entertainment by expanding their entertainment choices to include both personal media and Internet content/services from a potentially unlimited number of providers.

Qtv is the culmination of five years of experience delivering digital content to the TV, where the screen resolution, navigation and input devices are limited. The Qtv service solution is the nexus between content providers and the consumer. Qtv indexes the content and services from each provider, and enables the consumer to browse, search and manage their entertainment through an easy-to-use television interface.

BroadQ was founded in 2002 in Austin, Texas, by Stacy Cook and Rob Lipman. We launched our first product in October, 2002 - QCast for the PlayStation 2, which allowed users to access their PC-based photos, music and videos from the TV using the PS2. In 2003, we released the second version of the QCast software through Mad Catz, Inc. under the product name GameShark Media Player. In 2004, we launched a multi-language PAL version of the QCast software in Europe through trendExpress under the product name Medio.

BroadQ is uniquely positioned to take advantage of the emerging Web TV market. Our team is highly experienced with expertise in IPTV, PS2 software development, intellectual property, advertising and content licensing.
